Egg-Siting News

First of all sorry I used that over played joke. Now. Hey all, So today morning i walk up to the cages and do my regular nest check and that's when I notice I HAVE FOUR EGGS. So Blue and Snow have two eggs and Black and Penguin another two. I'm really excited and well freaked out. Can't wait for the little babies to finally show up. If anyone does read this and knows any good advice could you please comment them? comment them comment them I think that ought a do it. -Kareem

Major News!

Hi all, I know it's been a while but this entry is going to make it all up. First of I would like to tell you that last week I was off spending the summer at the beach 200 miles away from home. My aunt was taking care of the birds and since I was expecting eggs I thought the extra privacy would be good. When I came back home all was good except there was no eggs. Bummer. Then something happened, something MAJOR. Ice, my white hen, started singing! turns out the doubts I had were true.

What Just Happened Here!

Hi all, If you read my previous entry you'd know that Snow and Blue have paired up and are building their nest. Well, Today morning I saw them for the first time mating. It was so exciting because now that they have mated and that their nest has been finished the eggs should be on their way. Later this morning I had a cage malfunction and all my finches enjoyed 3 hours of free roaming in my room! I honestly wish I could keep it like that. Introduction.

Hi all, This here is going to be a day by day status update and blog on my 3 pairs of breeding zebra finches.
