sorry to jump on post so much :P

me and my dad decided to try and move the hen into the cage in the shed....but she sopped sitting on them, so after an hour i took the eggs off her and candled them....4 hatching :) so into the incubator they went (luckily i had it set up ready, all i needed to do was turn it on).......

sadly one of the chicks didnt make it (tried hatching too early) but here are the 3 amigo's :)

yes i know one looks dead on the first picture....but dont worry....it is alive! :D also in last picture the AA batteries are to show the size of them :)

they still have a long way to go yet......im risking leaving them without heat in my room in a glass brooder until tomorrow (staying at partners)....although my room is kept warm and they went without heat last night :) but at the current temperatures where i am they should be ok :)

going to do the same with the other hen, take her eggs off her 1 or 2 days before hatch day :)
