Sorry to be a pain Dave, will the penguin cocks from the above pairing be split fawn, ifso could I then pair back to a fawn hen to produce fawn penguin.
-
Thanks for that Dave, when you say "young males" will that be any young male that is produced from the original pairing, What would the results be from pairing a penguin cock to a fawn hen.
-
Guys, what route do I take to produce the above, I have normal fawn cocks and hens, I also have grey penguins, whats the best best pairing, thanks
-
Took me all season but I'm rather excited by the below cock, hes one of 5 out the nest Just need a nice big hen for him.
-
This is the other sibling so it looks like there is a bit of fawn thrown in as well
-
You've got a keen eye Baz, Parents are CFW hen, BB cock
-
Guys, I know he not exhibition size but I'm really pleased with this cocks facial markings, he was one of a clutch of 5, 3 other cocks that look similar but this one stands out. whats your thoughts as I am only a novice,
-
Lovely looking BC fawns, I got a surprise when this one came out of my fawn hen paired with a normal cock, she is starting to colour up nicely now
-
Thanks, the cock is BF and the hen is CFW
-
Think I have a few that might be worthy
-
This is one of my "normal" zebs, he might not have a great shaped head or be of show quality but he is a little star, having raised one clutch of 4, has 5 in the nest and is nest building again, I just love the little fella.
-
Lovely looking bird, now thats got me thinking as I have splits with both bc and cfw in them.
-
Looks like a normal cock to me.

Thanks Dave, I was pretty sure, just needed it confirmed as I have read on here that hens can carry some cock markings, I'm pretty new to this and its all taking a bit of getting used too, all this split stuff is getting confusing.
