Hello Ive had two cock zebra finches for 3 years unfortunately one died a couple of days ago They got on well. Should I purchase another cock bird or leave the other one on his own ? I know they are sociable birds and often it is recommended to have more than one. But from experience I know they can often not get on. Previously I had a hen and a cock and they lasted 3 weeks with the cock constantly pecking the hen and killing it Any advice welcome

Hi Until yesterday I had two male zebras who we had for 3 years they seemed to get on well unfortunately one has now died Should I buy another one or leave the existing bird on its own in case it doesn't bond with a new male bird ? I realise Zebras are sociable birds and in the wild live in large flocks in Australia What do you suggest... thanks for any info
