Clare L 175 Report post Posted November 24, 2015 Hi Nick, I Have a fawn male with similar cheek marking, whose parents are full BC & Split BC. Was the cheek patch black as a chick? mine was and only showed the orange after a moult, I have yet to test whether full or split. So could have BC in him, either way a nice zeb. Nick Hall 193 Report post Posted December 3, 2015 Sorry Clare just seen this, no but he carried a lot of white and still does
Clare L 175 Report post Posted December 9, 2015 Hi Nick, By carrying alot of white do you mean he is split for CFW? I still find his cheeks very interesting, as to why they have bled so much black into them, it would seem very unusual unless BC was involved. Admittedly I would put him down as BC split if he was one of mine. But still learning, with all these oddities that can happen. Clare
