Emmy 528 Report post Posted November 19, 2016 This is a short video clip of a Heck's egg in my incubator on the 8th day of incubation. Fascinating to see the limbs moving (at least I think that's what it is) (lol)

Emmy 528 Report post Posted November 22, 2016 Disaster!!! When I was turning the above egg it slipped and cracked I put a little nail varnish over the tiny crack but I doubt very much if it will survive now. but I've left it in the incubator meantime. Andyn 534 Report post Posted November 22, 2016 That's a shame Emmy but you never know with the nail varnish trick, but you can monitor the progress with your Oviscope candler and see if there is still movement. Only thing is (and I expect you are aware) when chick tries to break through it's going to have a little problem getting past the varnish so might need some help. Keep up the good work.
