    Aww bless him Sarah.

    I would put the finch back in with him, Bubbles sounds like he is pining for his friend.

    I know how you feel with regards to being busy, Im getting a kitten in the next few weeks and have some decorating to do lol.

    Sarah, Ive spoken to my father in law who bred birds for a long time and to reassure you they should be fine together.

    I personally would keep them together, if they got on ok in the first place I can't see any problems with it.

    If they have managed to live together with no problems so far , its unlikely they would fight. They have probably become friends. In the same way a domestic cat and  mouse could become friends if they spend time together.

    I have 28 Zebra Finches ( were originally 1 pair lol) and 4 budgies :)

    They all have names too lol.

    I posted that message for Kareem to read :)

    When I had less Zebra finches they used to fly around with the budgies quite happily. Birds have different personalities so if a budgie gets on with a zebra finch I would personally keep them together :)

    I have 5 eggs due to hatch in a few days, the dad is a grey and the mum is a sky blue :)

    So I think it will be either all grey to hatch or depending on genetics could be a mixture of sky blues and greys :)
