  1. I got Zerofen oral suspension from my vet,its from Chanelle. For all caged birds its .8ml/1 kg so how much for each bird? Ive 3 cockatiels weighing 100g, 3 bengelese about 16g and 21 finches two of which are still not weaned conpletly. It says use for five days but when should I redose them? Also the vet told me to put it in the water as theres no way ill be able to catch them all so do I just empty the water every day, wipe it clean and refill again?

Sorry for the questions, this is my first time to worm them so im nervous and puzzled.

  2. The eggs are kept warm whenever i check so thats a good sign and Im pretty sure both birds are sitting as at night they share the nest aswell.

Ill candle the eggs tomorrow and remove infertile ones as theres 7 in the nest.

  3. Im not sure i found them in the water dish dead and they were stone cold.

About the eggs im trying to find plans on incubation so i could transfer any fertile ones and let the birds sit on the infertile ones

that way if the eggs hatch i could try trick the parents into thinking the egg hatched while they were out.

  4. So a male from one pair and a female from another pair drowned tonight so it there any way of moving the eggs and the two surviving birds into one cage or will they hatch the eggs on their own?

the male has 3 eggs and the female has 5.

  5. BB is a recessive mutation so both parents must be split for it or show it for it to be seen on the chicks.

Regarding the tameness it usually lasts a few days as they don't exactly know their meant to be scared of humans.

I got caught out about that too but its natural.

  6. The hen is an adult. I was thinking that but i taught that i could try it as it might work. Shes currently in the aviary and they dont really bother her as she justs flys, eats with the rest of them.

She seems to stand on her legs more so when shes at the food dish or small perches so it could be going good.
