Rolf. I've just had a look at your website.
That's an amazing set up that you have. Fantastic. And some great looking birds.
Welcome to the forum.

Put some fresh nesting material in with them. It's probably the parent wanting to go to nest again.
-
My birds mad for this. They get really excited as soon as they see the bowl that I mix it in. Just add water.
-
Kareem is right. You need to separate the budgie from the finches - and quickly.
-
Mine started like that earlier in the year. I took the nests out, separated them for a week and then put them back together with fresh nesting material. All of them were successful second time around.

Sorry to hear that.

Isn't it wonderful how they never cease to surprise. You never know, next thing the youngster will probably start singing like a canary! Emmy's right. You should send that story and pics to C&AB.

Nice birds and great pictures. You should enter some of those in the monthly photo competition.

Wish I was retiring! Happy birthday Andy.

Welcome back!
Hope you have a great year.

I'd say the ones a Grey Pied. And the other either a Fawn or a Cream.
But I'm new to this - so I would pay much store by what I think!
What were the parents. Look nice youngsters.
-
Yep. Could do. Let's see how the season goes.

Thanks Neil. Yes - a good day today!
2 pairs of Fawns with eggs. And a Silver cock paired with a Normal hen. What will that pairing give me?

My first year with Zebras after 30 years away.
Have 6 pairs that I put together last weekend. When I went in this morning 3 of them have their first eggs.
They must know its Valentines Day!!

I'm just re-entering the hobby after 20 years away. Am in the process of building my birdroom and flights and should be ready for first birds in 2/3 weeks.
Hopefully then I'll breed some next year and will then enter some of the shows.
I'm based in Worcester. Would be great to hear from other forum members who are local to me.

Mike. I'm in Worcester, about 5 minutes from jnc 6 of M5 - so not too far from you.
If you can get up here I'll give you 2 hens to get you going - I've got surplus and could do with getting rid of a few.
Alternatively, if you only want one pair I'll swap one of your males for a female. Dan's right - and I think you should only have one pair in the size of cage you have in that photo.
