You asked about fixing a problem after it happens; but if you are experiencing eggbinding with your birds then you should take steps to avoid it.Eggbinding is hypocalceamia (low calcium) and is best avoided by ensuring your birds get plenty of Calcium but it must be capable of absorption and that requires both vitamin D and potassium. VitD is naturally produced by exposure to sunlight but many UK breeders can't give sunlight exposure at this time of the year so I recommend using a proprietary Breeding Oil (I'm sure you will get guidance where to buy in the UK). Such oils contain a good dose of D. Potassium is in mineralised grit.Good luck.KenG

I live in Perth WA and have kept zebs for too many years to say!!I was originally from Plymouth UK and got my first zebs from Courtney Hocking.I keep several colour forms:Grey, Fawn, all the dominant dilutes, Slate & Beige, Creambacked, Grizzle, White and Blackface.I represent WA on the National Federation.
