I have two males that moved in at the same time. They bonded and seemed quite close for the first few weeks, but suddenly they started fighting. I removed their coconut nest thinking it was causing territorial behavior, but the fighting continued. Then I thought maybe they were fighting over the bird bath or the food. At this point I have two identical bird baths and two separate food dishes so I really can't figure out why they are so aggressive.
Currently they are snuggled up together but soon they will be pecking each other's beaks and chasing each other. Also they used to sleep snuggled up but now they sleep in separate areas! It is sad. ?
