try a bit of honey in the water it might help a little bit i know i always feel better after drinking a whisky with honey in it.
i always remember my dads aunt telling us that she put brandy in her birds water when it was poorly the bird got better, but the healthy one drunk some and died i am not saying you should give your bird any though

hi andy i did a deal with someone by swapping some zebrafinches and giving him cash, well when i got there and saw the state of them i should have just walked away there and then, but i am not like that so i ended up with cage with no perch's so i bought some wooden one's from supapets and the fronts that clip on to hold the cage fronts on some of the clips were broke so they are now held on with tape.
so if anybody knows of any youngsters that want to startup keeping birds they are quite welcome to these cages and if i have any spare birds i will give them a pair of zebs or a cock canary for the song to get them started all for nothing
emmy everytime i put my hand in to clean them out the front nearly alway's fall off
baz i am getting wooden one's soon you cannot go wrong with them
i should have said they will have to pick them up front chatteris, cambs

sorry about the quality of the picture the bird on the left came from a place near ely cambs that deal in birds, seed, cages and other bits and bobs, the man that bred it,takes his spare birds there i think the owner of the place said he shows and he writes articles for the c&a about zebra finches and bengalese so you can pickup nice birds at shop and dealers
