My Bengalese tend to "Adopt" any egg or chick that is left alone.
Most recently I found a stray Zebra egg in a canary pan and thought I would put it in a box the Bengalese roost in and low and behold they raised the chick and are still feeding it now even after fledging.
i think i will try that if my phaeos throw their eggs out again,i have some spare bengies in the flight

steve

it is nice and forgive me for seeming a bit thick how do you get the grey cheek without going and buying one
steve

As Straight seed is NOT prepared and comes in bags greater than 12.5kg then you should never get charged VAT, if you have been then the supplier is breaking the law.
so if i brought a 25 kg sack plus a 5 kg of a different seed i would be charged vat on the smaller quantity because they had to bag it

We had a similar problem with Greyhound dog food. I kicked off to the supplier and got credited several orders worth of Vat.
If it was delivered and you paid P&P you would expect VAT on that though.
Worth a try,
hi andy perhaps it was on the postage if, i have used them once but if i do use them again i will query it
