If she is fertile and you had paired her with a zeb, would the hybrid side still continue or does it only come out at the original pairing ?
I would have thought that it would only appear at the original source, (bet i'm wrong)
If it was me I would pair her up and see, (just my opinion)
i was thinking that trev but did not want to seem daft by asking that

Hi Steve I think I'll just buy a shampoo that has conditioner added or I could add a little conditioner to the Johnstones- - maybe even try a bit of colour- seems its ok to use colouring on canaries

hi i give birds in one aviary johnson tonic i also use to give them bee pollen in the water and soft food,i put wheatgerm and cod liver oil in the soft food,in the aviary of red canaries they just get soft food plus carophyll in the water and the birds don't look any different to each other,if anything the red one's are more healtheir than the others i have just lost a fife and have another one in a cage with heat i have never lost a adult red but i have lost a few fifes, when we have bad weather the main aviary is covered in polyethene where the reds i leave one side open,so it makes you wonder if they need all the supplerments or just fresh air, they all get the same seeds and greens.

is that your garage or shed roof its sitting on,if so leave the door open with some seed just inside tie a bit of string to the handle sit and wait once it goes inside pull it shut quickly thats what i did when i let one of my zebs out,if you can't do that use a bird cage with out the base on put a bowl of seed in the middle and then prop it up at one end useing a stick with string attached and again sit a little bit away from the cage, when it goes to eat the food give the string a gentle tug, some one in the cage and aviary caught a family of st helena's that way.
