Linford 4 Report post Posted February 20, 2012 In the shows does it matter if when you put forward a pair of normals that the cock is split for anything, CFW,fawn etc or is this not considered. I would have thought a good pure normal cock that is buff coloured underneath would be the best. Fawn split shows itsself on the wing flight feathers i believe and CFW as more white underparts?thanksMark

paulm 119 Report post Posted February 23, 2012 Hi MarkAll birds have faults and a lot of the birds on the show bench are split for one thing or another pure Normals cock are few and far between, the show standard in the uk states the colour requirements but it is not just about colour shape, type, condition all come into it along with other things.Paul.
