Stephen Now Santa's been with a nice Double breeder i would also advise getting rid of the wicker baskets and get some open front nest box with a removable top to make it easies to keep an eye on any youngsters

in Broomhouse community centre, Baillieston road, Broomhouse, Glasgow. G71 7SE. Next to the old Glasgow zoo. Intake of birds and equipment 12Noon open to public 12.30PM. Admission £1 for adults, children and birds free. No extra costs for buyers or sellers. Clean cages and equipment will only be accepted, two birds per suitable sized cage, seed and water in cages.Dirty cages will not be allowed on tables. Birds sold or ordered in advance not allowed on tables.Can be put to side area in hall and must have seed and water in cages.Normal paperwork rules apply.Stewards and committee only are allowed entry to hall before 12.30PM. She is only 3 months old and the breast bar has only started showing about a weak ago, so have the "white" cheeks. Her beak is definitely orange and is lighter than her male mate. I am pretty certain she is a hen.

have you checked for red mite you you will have to do it at night when they are feeding on the birds they hide during the day

the cock will be able to rear the chicks on his own ok

I have had it happen in the past nowadays i just leave it and it sorts it did try to remove it once and was the only time i have lost a chick because of it probably due to me interfering with nature

Before i had the internet i sent some very good birds to the pet shops that would have done a novice starter very nicely!
remember there is exceptions to ever rule and I sure there may be a gem out there in a pet shop

sure i read somewhere that the twin foil is equivalent to 2 inch polystyrene
