    Hi saltrock,

    I myself and running electric to my birdroom, im running 4mm armoured cable from a small board in the garage, which then runs into the house fuseboard which is 6mm. Reason for the 4mm is I am running 40meters of the stuff so I need it for the power.

    If its only a light and tub heater your running should be able to get away with a 3 or 5amp fuse in the plug. If you can go for armoured go for 2.5mm armoured 3core. Thats should do the job.

    Hi Trevor,

    I understand that mate, I to after this season will be trying to reduce the number of pieds in my flight. There all going to have one more round in the flight then its sorting out time for next year I started late this season but happy with what I have out so far. I do have plenty of pied chicks out ill get some pictures when there coloured up a bit better.

    Trevor,

    Are you trying for a certain pied colours or just experimenting?

    One question I was meaning to ask is can pied be bred out of zebras, I have bred the 3 chicks (I put picture on another post) the black cheek young just have a white feather in there wings can this be breed out of them or will pied always stay as pied.

    Not bad thanks, how about yourself?

    Yeah there coming along now, bit slow but next season should be better.

    The bf cfw male has bred for me but his with a cfw female. They have just had 2 chick left the nest, so ill be keeping my eye on them, I still can't sus the bf cfw female yet. How are you doing with yours has he bred anything yet?

    Hi all,

    New chick not long fledge the nest 3 in total 2 look the same the one at the bottom completely different also has red eyes which you carnt see from the picture.

    The parents are in the top picture, sorry about the pic it was when I first had them.

    The first chick may turn out to be a bb, bc pied? Not sure on the other any ideas?
