  1. Heres my original pair of blackbreastedcock 2009 hen 2010have recently reset them back up as tried the hen and cock with other partners but were unsuccessfulhave 3 offspring of theirs - 2cocks and hen - the hens seems the best size wise one of the cocks has fathered a young cock himself - hoping this young cock will produce me some nice lightback blackbreasts soonhave just set the young blackbreast split lightback cock x lightback blackbreast hen up todaycomments welcome cheersDave
  2. hi all, had previously posted this bird elsewhere when i purchased her shes a 2009 bird thought she was just a standard normal pied hen but moving her from a cage today had a closer look at her and i think she might be full Blackface too so if members in the know would have a good look and see what you think? main reason i noticed was her tear marks the white stripe is near missing both sides.Apologises for poor images - will take new ones if need be The first picture shows the tear mark well - the white pied mark comes upto her chin so 50/50 if she is blackface or a poorly marked normal pied - should she be a full blackface - my intention is to cross her to a standard coloured cock in the hope to produce blackfaces without the pied - i know theyd be split pied but hopefully wont be procreated anytime sooncheersDave

    Crested

hi trevor yep ive definately passed your table before and spoke briefly i believeill try and get some pictures of the better crested birds see what you think had a cracking fawn crest cock i bred last year but fell off perch randomly about 2months ago no illness or anything- its mate did nest but they kept breaking the eggs so sadly no progeny off him i do however have a young cock bred early this year, same again fawn split blackcheek but has a really nice crest on him is much larger than its mother but isnt quite as big as the one i lost but hoping to breed him soonDave
