the one in the back ground does not have any cheek patches and there beaks are turning red it looks like there going to be hens aswell just like the one that's a cfw that came from same nest they carnt be cheeks birds can they cus I thought that if they were cheeked you would see it? thanks for replying punky

all chicks are out of nest and they are cage bred the male is fawn cheek and the female is fawn ill post a pic asp thanks for looking emmy and trevor

no its not the zeb from the other question this chick came from another nest its other nest mate was a normal male and the difference with males an females is that males still have the chest bars and flanks thanks for looking an d repling emmy and trevor

hi Emmy both mutations are recessive as you will already no so all chicks will be split for both I believe you should see some signs of both mutation on the chicks ie tail feathers and on flanks hope it all go ok for you keep me informed please thanks

hi Kerry it is a shame and ive been looking at what you been trying to do up to now I have bred 2 obbb chicks 1 fawn a hen as my pair are normales so my male must be split for fawn and 1 normal unsexed yet as too young shame were not close as you say cus we mite have been able to do some swaps

hi my fawn check cock that's paired to a fawn hen produced two white chicks and one chestnut flanked white how can this happen is my male split for both theses colours ? if so I no the cfw is a hen wot will the white ones turn out to be thanks for any input to this

hello marie I have 6 pairs of mixed mutation and have 17 chicks and 8 eggs at moment from them its going a bit slow at moment but hopefully they will catch up. and yes its looks like a great forum glad iv joined
