  2. No mate no pied in it. It just looks very light fawn I really like it but didn't want to be breeding something that is no good colour wise it's a lovely sized bird as well

    What Do I Have

    I have chicks from a light back cock and hen 3 young are light back cocks. However the fourth looks to be of a fawn colour but has a white underneath. Do you think this is a badly marked light back or a fawn cock. Cheers

  5. Hi emmy indie flight is looking good for 3 pair of zebs 2 pair of canaries. Going to stay in the outside next month I'm only going to cover one half of the roof in just going to use perspex. 300 delivery where was it from Australia haha

  7. Hi everyone finally got my shed and indoor flight finishedjust got ccages to clean then all set for breeding only got 3 pairs cfw, light backs and penguins. Can't wait to get started properly. is there anyone else in the North East on here
  8. Cheers mate I got some young at the beginning of the year with markings on going to make it a bit of a project. Is it best to get normals to breed the size into normal penguins. I also have light back and cfw's can you breed these into the penguin or does it not work Cheers again

  11. Does anyone know if there is any way to breed the chest bars out of my male penguins. They are just faint bars but did not know if I had to buy new males in our there was anything I can do.
  12. I keep cfw and lightbacks i only have one of each pair for now. I'm looking for normals fawns and penguins mate. I used to keep them years ago but just started up again in building my aviary next week.
  13. Thanks for the help lads. If I'm going to get normals out of the black cheeks I might try that pairing as I'm struggling for normals. Will the cfw take on some light back colouring

    Best Pairing

    I have a pair of normals but they are small in size. What would be the best way to pair them to increase the size. The other birds I have are pairs of penguins cfw and lightbacks. Cheers for any help

  18. I like many colours especially cfw I like fawns Anna normals to. I would really like to try with the penguins as well I'm just trying to figure out where to start like. I was wondering weather to go to a breeder or maybe Stafford show. Would you have spare stock at all next year for me to take a look at. I don't think I'll be needing next year.
  19. I think it may have been him he had some amazing birds and was very helpful. Was he a judge for Scottish and northern counties club mate. Do you still need zebs mate so you show them as well. Just wondering what colours you have it seams a lot more involved now than when I was 15 like
  20. Hello everyone Im from Newcastle I used to keep zebras about 15 years ago. I got them from a breeder in Carlisle. I am going to build my out door aviary next year and will be looking to get stock about match next year. I've been reading this forum for a while and love all the stories and information.
