Hi Charlton2602, I am in very much the same position, although it's around 25 years since I had them! I'm in Consett, and my birdroom and aviary should be ready soon. Will be looking for a few birds soon, and who knows I might have some available next year, who knows? Phil

Hi everyone, I used to keep zebras for many years when I lived in Bristol and North Somerset, and then took a couple of pairs to Essex when my job took me there in 1982. However, financial pressures, a young family, and job pressures meant that I sold up. Now, many years lay=ter, I find myself in Consett, County Durham, and about to plan and build my first aviary for around 30 years! Would be interested to hear from other local members, as I'm going to be looking for some really good breeding stock - not intending to show, but there's little point in breeding inferior stock, right? I always used to love CFW, creams, penguins, so might well start with some of these. is there a local-ish bird club where I could meet other enthusiasts? Any contacts, any advice would be very welcome! Phil
