i remeber the first all zebra show i exhibited at scottish and northern counties in carlisle in 1975 i was 12 , got a bus into glasgow and a train to carlisle station where i was picked up by jim addison who took me to the hotel i was booked in .jim also took me to the station along with a lad from portnokie in banf shire to catch the trsin home . The mans name was sandy hay . The first zfs club show we went to would have been darlington in 1988 and then most after that

Thanks for that info , at the time we had some penguins we paired the penguins to our best normals and fawns for splits then bredd penguins from them . They used to say that the birds breed from them were dirty but most we breed were very good colour and size wise , penguin to penguin used to breed them just to small we found

Penguins , lovelly mutation and nice to see clean ones and of good quallity .Remember winning best breeder at midland all zebra show in 1993 with pair normal pengies , jeez that was a while ago !!!!!!!!!! Peter Harrison also had a few top penguins at that time .The other folk i remember with penguins were dennis webster and charlie scarth any one know them ??

HI MY NAME IS ROBERT ANDERSON AND HAVE JUST COME ACROSS THIS ZEBRA FORUM . HAVING BREED AND SHOW ZEBRAS IN THE ,S AND 90,S I THOUGHT I WOULD COME IN FOR A LOOK .WE showed as R@J ANDERSON and at most ZFS club shows and all zebra shows at the time . Was also on the ZFS committe and points sec for a few years , off to look at the site .Regards Robert
