True, I also had split to BC birds with tear markings sized half of a cheekpatch and some with regular tear markings. Also I have a male NG bird, who is not split to BC but has a very wide tear marking fading into the cheeks.

Hello everybody! My name is Zoltan Herczeg and I am from Győr, Hungary. I keep pet birds for more than ten years. Zebra finches are one of my favorites and now most of my birds are zebras (approx. 15 pairs). I keep black-cheeked greys, lightback black-cheeked greys, blackface greys, penguin greys (unfortunately my penguins are small) and some other mutations. I am so glad I found this forum, because I hope I can improve my knowledge about zebras here. Besides the zebras I keep zebra waxbills (or orange-breasted waxbill), red siskins, silverbills, shafttail finches and lineolated parakeets.
