zebba 'D' 43 Report post Posted May 30, 2012 hi all, I had a pair of finchs, that 4 young. The parents were a grey male/split for cfw and a visual blackcheek grey female The off spring were 3 grey 2females 1 make and 1 cfw female. Now if i am right all the chicks should have the blackcheek gene but none have shown this visual. The question i have is the cfw female has the blackcheek gene when breeding her will the blackcheek be shown visual in her young or will it be carried over again.
