norfolk flyer 208 Report post Posted September 9, 2012 Paul, Personally in my oppinion, i wouldn't mix Grey with Fawn, i would keep the greys together and likewise the fawns. So, Fawn Pied x Fawn Pied, Grey Pied x Grey Pied, Grey x Grey Pied and Fawn x Fawn Pied. As i said this is just my oppinion. Hope this helps you, Trevor
raymondo 1 Report post Posted September 11, 2012 Hi Trevor, Why do you feel its best to keep them seperate? Ive spoke to a few people who feel the same , is that because of matching pairs for shows?? I am not to bothered about showing knowing how random the pied gene is and do not have the time to put to many pairs down.Although I intend to breed exhibition type birds , maybee in the future I will have more time spare?? Do you know what the outcomes of the first question I asked above?? Paul
