Saddleback Pics.....

...if i did it right...not good on pc

 

1st pic....normal saddleback,breeding pair

 

2nd pic..fawn  saddleback hen

 

3rd pic...nest of 4 2013 bred,nearest is a fawn saddleback with very diluted saddle,then 2 fawn saddleback and a fawn pied

 

4th pic..2013 normal saddleback hen...she as a few small markings on head and barring on tail...which i would prefer to be clear white

Neil Thanks for posting the photos  - that 's the first time I've seen that colour and its obvious why they were given the name saddlebacks ;) They look lovely.  Do they not have cheek patches?

no emmy they dont have cheek patches...a good saddleback should be pure white with just the saddle 

patch on the back,but its hard to breed them like that...you do get some that have a bit more pied marking with a little bit of the cheek patch in same nest as saddlebacks...im quiet new to them so was hoping someone on the site had any info on them
