wallisonline 1 Report post Posted July 15, 2011 Hi All,Just a quick introduction from myself to say hello to everyone here!My name is Dean from NottinghamI am currently (very slowly) building myself an aviary using part of my shed for an inside retreat and a large outdoor area for the birds. I have an idea of what it will be like in my head and have started collecting the parts required to put it all together but the weather is not looking good for this weekend so it might take a bit longer! When I was very very young my dad used to have an aviary in the garden but other than that im new to this so may ask some questions that seem simple/obvious to some people. Im reading up as much as I can from various sources online and in books before I get my first birds so I have a rough idea of what I need to do to keep the birds happy. Im not intentially going to breed them yet but im not planning on keeping males/females seperate, but as I said im reading up so if anything does happen I know what to expect and have a rough idea of what to do Anyway thats enough about me for now unless anyone has any questions :)Dean
