The bird's beak is still quite dark so it's hard for me to tell without knowing the parentage . Have had the odd bird in the past similar , turned out to be pied hen's . Feedback welcome . dannyboy2012 63 Report post Posted December 6, 2013 Hi thanks for the comments, they are cfw's, there beak is quite dark as they haven't lost, the chick plumage yet, as they have only left the nest a few weeks ago, there parentage is hen/cock cfw's. dannyboy2012 63 Report post Posted December 7, 2013 Hi Trevor, Yes I am, i obtained a few birds from Peter hook, before stafford as i went down to his and took some birds after a great convo, i obtained some new stock to improve on the head size, and this is 1 chick from a pair, my original cfw cock and 1 off his hens i purchased, just wish i had it before i showed at stafford, but there's always next year.
