norfolk flyer 208 Report post Posted January 15, 2014 Chris, 11 out of 10 so you know what I think, Right up my street, well done, As for your other question my answer is no, only BB if it were BF as well it would have no different colouring on the cheek area just the body colour all over, Keep it up Chris, Trevor
zebba 'D' 43 Report post Posted January 15, 2014 Hi trevor, Cheers for that, very happy with this chick i have never bred a crested before. The hen came from good strong bloodlines ;-). Didn't realise male or female are split for bb. A bonus I think. Cheers, Chris
norfolk flyer 208 Report post Posted January 15, 2014 Chris, Remember what I said to you a few months ago, Write info down as things happen because it will disappear from your brain, this young and split parents could be ideal further down the line, Records are invaluable !!! zebba 'D' 43 Report post Posted January 15, 2014 Trevor, This season has so far started off well I have recorded most birds brought in. I had another surprise from the flight a bb grey male x bc cfw hen. They have 4 bc chicks out the nest which means the male must be split for bc. I feel i have a better understanding of certain genes now which can only help me futher down the line. The cr bb will definitely be stopping for next season :-D.
