New Zebras. Mutation Confusion.

Hi all, 

 

If you've been reading my previous topics you'd know that i had a female zebra finch lose her mate in a hawk accident.

 

I went out and bought her 5 more zebra so they can keep her company, I've always heard 3 pairs is the magic number.

 

The new ones are some exciting colors and as usual I am confused.

My Guesses are from left to right :

 

Grey Hen "Blue"

Penguin Hen "Penguin"

Grey Cock "Brownie"

Black Faced Black Cheeked Cock "Black"

White Hen "Ice"

Cream Cheeked Cock "Snow"

 

Also, I've been questioning the gender of the all white bird "Ice".

He is currently Pairing up with the female penguin hen, Penguin. Not so creative I guess.

i currently have 5 eggs now im writing a diary/blog in the breeding

Nice Names.

 

I tried getting there names to fit their characteristics

Black - the BlackFace BlackCheek, Snow - The CreamCheeked, Ice - The White, Penguin, The Penguin were fairly simple

Its Blue And Brownie that were difficult. Blue lost her mate and that is were the name came from, Brownie refers to the chocolate brownie desert because he looks like a fat 9 year old.

If I am correct, Titch is the one who had shared a cage with a budgie?

good names! also i have just commented on the other post  

 

i tried to make little sequence with the names

 

i go off the personality with my budgies to name them, leave the finches to my dad (saying that i currently have 2 in my room, along with 3 budgies haha)

 

and yes, he is doing brilliant now, bubbles my budgie is lonely still but he will perk up when i get him a lovely hen.

he used to be, but i have another 2 budgies in my room and recently he just tries to bite me every time i try to go near him, he is still only young so when the 2 other budgies in my room go into breeding cages i will try again
