Emmy 528 Report post Posted November 19, 2014 Thanks Richard, I'm so disappointed that those other ones died (white bC hen)and I think I'll have probably 'lost' the owl finch eggs as well - I know the 2eggs the owl finches have in the nest wont hatch now - they are not on the nest anymore- just wondering if its because there's 3 in the cage- problem is I don't know if its 2 females and. 1 male or two males and one female- poor Bengies are trying hard they now also have a zebra finch in beside them (lol) wont blame them if the eggs do hatch out if they get confused. I'm really pleased with those 5 chicks mainly because of their size I thought they would have been much smaller when they fledged from the size they were when they hatched out.
