zebbieaviary 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2010 Hi All,I joined the forum today. I have bred and kept zebra finches for over 3 years and today I have an aviary of about 30. I bred cockatiels for 10 years before 2007. The zebs have just finished all their breeding this year. I am currently looking for a new breeding pair of zebs as all my birds are mostly related to each other from siblings to about second cousins :)James

zebbieaviary 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2010 Hello all and thank you for the welcome.I still remember when I got my first pair of zebra finches, mainly because the cockatiels I had before upset the neighbours at 6am every morning. The zebra finches are leagues better and quieter. A much more pleasant and less dramatic song from the males. My first pair zebras were a lightback hen and an exhibition sized normal split continental chestnut flanked white male. Most of my zebs today are descended from them.James
