If I let Fudge breed with a Penguin zebra finch female what colour will the offspring be?

  9. Hi Kerry Yes he does He is getting on really well with Fidget, which I am really pleased about. He is huge compared to Jack , Jill and Fidget. Fidget is happy as Jill was bossing her about in their cage. My husband is considering letting me have a really big cage in our dining room, and you know what that means. More birds!!!!

  13. Hi everyone, am going to the pet shop tomorrow to pick up my new male Fawn Zebra Finch. Will put pics up soon. That means I will have four Zebra Finches and Rosie the Budgie, will be putting Jack and Jill in a cage together and hopefully they will breed again. Quite like the owl faced finches too. Do I need to build an aviary?
  14. Hi everyone. I am pleased to say despite Fidget's foot problems she is doing great! I am now looking to putting her in her own cage with a companion. Just not sure what colour male finch though as I have seen some beautiful colours. Thinking of a fawn male? If they did successfully breed what colour would their offspring be?
  15. They are lovely, my cfw Fidget looks like yours , she has lovely tear marks too now.
  16. Welcome to the forum. I have recently joined and have had some great advice regarding my zebra finches. I have three a normal male and grey female. They have had a chick Fidget who is nearly six weeks old now. They are let out in the evening and are quite tame , they fly in and out of the cage as they please during this time. Although Jill (grey female) loves attacking my fluffy rug !
