This light-back hen and a nest mate are now for sale, luckily I have 4 sisters so I have the luxury of parting with them go. Will be willing to swap for Normal or Fawn cock bird. These hens have been shown and won, the family they are from are closely related and have won Best light-back at the club show twice and best in show at East Anglia and Carlisle plus over 20 best cfw and/or light-backs specials in quality competition. pm or ring 01423 563513. Hi, Small birds very rarely breed big birds so you need to be ruthless and possibly dispose of them. Remember thou it is not all about size, type (shape) is most important too. Regards, Nick

Hi mate, You can show young birds as adults, in zfs sanctioned shows. Just to add look at birds you beat, to see where you can improve, lol Regards, Nick

Hi Richard, Very difficult to add constructive value, via photographs. The best advice I could give is to put some birds on the show bench? There you can compare yours against other birds where you need to improve.

Hi mate, No he was second in the class and fourth best Adult, although a breeder bird.

Hi Josh, If you are looking to concentrate to bring your birds up to exhibition standard you need to stop buying in birds like this. This may sound hard but they are a poor colour and carry no type at all. Most crested zebs in the UK carry no crest more like a tuft, for anyone to try bring these birds up to a standard is a mamouth task. Nick
