  3. Hi Paul Any chance you could provide a link to the Flemming and Flemming site you refer to? Thanks Jon
  4. Thanks folks came back yesterday after 2 wks in santorini and wow what a difference 2 wks makes to developing young zebs! I think I now have bred 40 this season and theres a few surprises inc my quest to bred silver light backs and various other dilutes. Big thanks to my bro for house and pet sitting though!
  5. They look strong healthy chicks Richard. You must be pleased with them!
  6. Thanks Richard. I'll keep you updated on how I get on.
  7. Hi dave I've admired the pics on your profile on more than one occasion. They look cracking! Its the dilutes that are my favourites. Finally got some promising creams and fingers crossed for more as they are all settling down to their next round.
  8. Thanks for the advice. My understanding is that I won't get silver light backs unless I used a light back cock or a split cock bird as light back is sex linked? I'm also 'trying' lught back cock to silver hen with a view to getting dilute light back. Also trying with creams and light back too but only got cream and fawn light back hens so far. All exciting and interesting stuff!
  9. So folks what's the likely outcome. I've hatched 5 from this mating ideally to get silver

  14. Hi Kieron I've not bred any yet. Im pairing light back to silver and vice versa as I'm wanting to try for silver light backs. You've done well getting 3 creams I always seem to get more fawns than cream probably because I'm biased to wanting better creams! I'll keep you posted as the season progresses. Pleased you've got your son interested cheers jon
