hi emmy they are both bc but not sure if they are bb i have got to get my head around all this bc/bb ect they are both cocks perhaps someone could help me out with who bred the bird on the left,i brought it from riverbank aviaries near ely,cambs but the man who bred it lives near duxford he breeds mainly black cheeks and phaeo's he also breeds bengalese and he rights for the c&a now and again,the lady told me his name but i forgot steve

sorry to butt in dan they are both young cfw hens and one of them is going to be mine yes ,he breeds some nice birds i already have 1 pair of exibition zebra's and 1 pair of bengalese which i have 5 chicks off dan steve

is that your garage or shed roof its sitting on,if so leave the door open with some seed just inside tie a bit of string to the handle sit and wait once it goes inside pull it shut quickly thats what i did when i let one of my zebs out,if you can't do that use a bird cage with out the base on put a bowl of seed in the middle and then prop it up at one end useing a stick with string attached and again sit a little bit away from the cage,when it goes to eat the food give the string a gentle tug,some one in the cage and aviary caught a family of st helena's that way. steve

what ever size you have it is never going to be big enough i started with a 10 x 6 then exstended to 10 x 9 and earlier this year i built another one and would like a 3rd one steve

never mind perhaps one day you will,my garden is not very big but have managed to get 2 small aviaries in my garden i just got rid of my daughters swing and trampoline steve

hi you can keep owl finches in a cage,but a aviary with low heat would be good i enjoy watching my birds flying around,i had some in my aviary with no heat and lost 2,also they will hibernate with the zebs as they are closely related steve

hi mal and welcome i have canaries and zebs in my aviary which in covered in polythene and a night shelter but they prefer to be in the flight even this morning when it was minus 6 they were all outside singing steve
