Andyn 534 Report post Posted July 3, 2013 Clare. What make you feel that he is split for BB. Cos I have one that looks like that. Is it the width of the black band on chest? Andy
Clare L 175 Report post Posted July 3, 2013 Hi Andy, The spots on the flanks are elongated, it doesn't show them that well in the pics. But generally if the spots are elongated the zeb should be split for BB. The breast bar can be larger to. Hope this helps Clare
Andyn 534 Report post Posted July 6, 2013 Thanks Clare, I've looked closer at my lot of cock youngsters and several have thicker breast bands but not anything different with the flank markings. And looking at the adults I have some with narrow bands and some with thicker ones. I'll check back on breeding records and see if certain cocks have bred chicks with same width of band etc. Cheers Andy
