zebba 'D' 43 Report post Posted February 18, 2014 Hi gaz, As allan said black flanks and a good solid blackcheek, thats not to say that you can't breed could quality bc from a poorly mark one. I had a pair in the flight split bbbc male and faint marked bc cfw hen, they produced 4 cracking chicks with good solid cheek patches. Chris
Zeb-a-Deb-a-Doo 1 Report post Posted February 18, 2014 Cheers chaps, I've got 3 pairs 1 cock bird has the black flank & the other 2 have brown flanks so if I want to get good solid birds I need to get rid of the brown flanked ones & get the black flanked ones?? Also taking into account that you can still get good birds from brown flanks but really want to get good bc stock.
