SarahR 70 Report post Posted June 12, 2016 sorry to jump on post so much me and my dad decided to try and move the hen into the cage in the shed....but she sopped sitting on them, so after an hour i took the eggs off her and candled them....4 hatching so into the incubator they went (luckily i had it set up ready, all i needed to do was turn it on)....... sadly one of the chicks didnt make it (tried hatching too early) but here are the 3 amigo's yes i know one looks dead on the first picture....but dont worry....it is alive! also in last picture the AA batteries are to show the size of them 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

SarahR 70 Report post Posted June 13, 2016 they still have a long way to go yet......im risking leaving them without heat in my room in a glass brooder until tomorrow (staying at partners)....although my room is kept warm and they went without heat last night but at the current temperatures where i am they should be ok going to do the same with the other hen, take her eggs off her 1 or 2 days before hatch day Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
