Very nice Paul I can see why he's a stunner and she's the boss
  3. Like the cock and 3rd hen
  4. Working to combine multiple colours such as Orangebreast blackbreast blackface Isabel will make them more colourful. Phaeos are tat least blackbreast Isabel Like Paul said 1 maybe blackface or split or full orangebreast too. Hens are harder to tell and ud need both carrying several mutations to combine all 4 colours. Dave
  5. Welcome I'm also from Nottingham If you need any more later date let us know I've got a couple pair.nesting but recently moved so not fully setup myself again yet. Cheers Dave

    Flighty Timor's

Hi markie Defo a larger cage/flighted bird and best interference to a minimum as usually reliable breeders from what I'm told different to nominate zebs can be very territorial also I wouldnt colony breed them. Dave
  7. Well if grandparents are true then Mother = either a fawn or cream split multiple colours. Better to tell if you have a pic? Male father = normal split cfw & fawn?? As chicks to me look like a cfw hen in bottom pic and possible a young fawn? In top one due to wings. Any updated pictures? Cheers
  8. LIKE THE CFW CHEEK ALOT PAUL
  9. I do like to keep you on your toes Paul lol. Probably throw something totally unexpected lol.
  10. Only problem I face is I don't have any full bb hens at present or splits for that matter. My line of thinking is when little older pair to nice type cfw hen. As will test the cfw x lightback theory. As if cfw bb will produce all cfw cocks and hens if lightback will give me lightback split cfw cocks and lightback hens. Id love to take you up on offer trev but like you were miles apart until Newark . He'll be around 10months old by then. Dave
  11. Thanks Paul sounds good to me. Is it the cheeked and lightback working in.conjunction making him so light coloured then? I have a normal hen, a lightback hen or a cfw hen I could pair him too to test?
  12. thanks for commenting all and thanks for parentage ryan would make his father a normal split cfw, bb some how and hen a fawncheek split bb different looking like i said when i got him, so heres hoping i get something nice off him too no bb hens here at mo though btw ryan you had my pms? cheers
  13. Ryan said cfw cheeked but it looks blackbreasted to me? So opinions welcomed
  14. Welcome Stefan Love the combos You ever bring any over to the UK?
  15. nice one mark can i ask where you got the timors from?
  16. Welcome Paul Glad to hear your able to keep more birds again What specific combination colours you after producing? As most challenging would be buy single mutations and combine over several seasons. We can guide best if we know what you like? As never 100% identical results will be achieved but all part of the fun. You still keeping bengalese? If so what colouration? Cheers dave
  17. If she is full blackbreast then her will just work on standard genetics of each seperately Silver = dominant Fawn = sex linked Blackbreast = recessive So I'd recommend if she is full blackbreast Pair her to a fawn blackbreast and you should get Fawn blackbreast cocks Cream blackbreast cocks Fawn blackbreast hens Cream blackbreast hens
  18. Without seeing tails of them all If both parents are splits then 50% will be split 25% blackbreast 25% normal Chick could also be just a split but i suspect full blackbreast
  19. Both parents will be split blackbreast Any chance you can post picture of all 3 birds tails, father mother chick As will be odvious if I'm right or not Cock was odv bred from a fawn blackbreast x silver pairing
  20. I'm going to say blackbreast cream
  21. Lucky pairing if correct 4 hen fawns 1 cock normal Look gd too
