sjames86 4 Report post Posted May 11, 2014 Thought i'd pop up a second thread to ask this question. Just been out to take a photo of the white chick in the nest box and it's not quite what I thought it would be. Any ideas? (sorry photos not as good tonight!) It is completely white except for a dark washed out splash on the back of the neck and what looks like a brown face mark Also to my surprise I found a second white one in another nest And then checked on the third box to find 6 more chicks, all looking like clones of each other! (please excuse the dirty box, 6 chicks are making one **** of a mess, may clean it out tomorrow for them)
Faracat 27 Report post Posted May 11, 2014 Hello, nice to see you on this forum. I'm sadly no help with the colours as I'm learning myself but they are lovely chicks and look very well fed!

Andyn 534 Report post Posted June 22, 2014 Hi, I think you have White Pied and normal Pied. (My kind of mutation) The first photo looks like it might be 'Grizzled' White. I have one bred this year with the 'Grizzle' from shoulder to shoulder. Are all the parents either visual Pied or Pied bred.?? Andy
