perch in photo is too big for zebra finch bird cant rap foot around perch not saying cause problem but wont help most perches should be between 6/9 mm wide in my opinion or use different diameter perches so it exercises the birds foot Allan

I would give them some extra light at least 18 hours a day, the chicks need fed regular and often 6pm to 7 am is to long without food for a newly hatched chick in but this is only my opinion Allan

I wont get to Haltwhistle this year because my local show is on the same date and I'm show manager so I suppose I had better be there but it dose not mean that my birds wont be at Haltwhistle

I will get some tomorrow and grind it up then mix some in to the softfood to see if it helps I see Haltwhistle have got gold patronage for this year
