Went in shed today to clean out as planned plus photo of youngster but sadly it had died, Dunno why all ok yesterday, Emmy, yes first round for them, but that's bird keeping I suppose, The other 2 in another nest are doing well (fingers crossed) Trevor ?

All, The nest in question only had one young, now 14 days old, I shall try and get pic on Sunday when I check them, Also I have another nest with 2 skins in approx 3days old, parents for these are BBLB/OB X LB/OB. So fingers crossed on these. Thanks for reading, Trevor ?

Emmy, Don't see much of them in mornings when I feed. I know I've got lights in cages but I tend to leave alone. I regually check all cages/nests at weekends, Other pairs are sitting on eggs, so this mild spell does help, I only want to have one brood for each pair as the young will be a big help for my 2016 project. Hi Emmy, There's 3 young, One I think is Deffo OBBB (top one), At start of season this was one of my plans to set up like this in an aviary situation, I does feel good when a plan comes together, All the best Emmy, Trevor.

All, A few months ago I erected a new aviary due to my other one having rot in wrong places. I decided to split the aviary into to sections one half for blacks and one for orange, Used plastic boxes instead of the normal wooden ones, Today I looked into one box to check and this is the result, This box is in the orange part of the aviary, Well pleased with result, one of my better ideas, Thanks for looking, Trevor.
