Even after 20 odd years I get a little sad when I find a chick or even adult that hasn't made it. There is a saying- 'If you have livestock you'll have deadstock'. The first thing you always do is blame yourself but as your breeder said , 'these things happen' I was blaming the change in the weather too Outside Temperature all over the place the past day or so. I came home tonight to find that I had lost the best cock bird in my setup, it really puts a dampener on things when you get days like this. Keep your chin up. If just incase the parents stop feeding them they can nbible on soft food. I put a bath in so they have access to water, hopefully in doing that i cover all the bases!
